Foiling
Foiling replaces traditional ink with a reflective foil, and although your first thought will be of gold or silver, there are a full range of colours and textures including metallic, rainbow and holographic to choose from. Foiling is particularly eye catching as a corporate logo or as a subtle detail in your stationery.
Foiling is the application of pigment or metallic foil to paper where a heated die is stamped onto the foil, making it adhere to the surface leaving the design of the dye on the paper. Foiling can be combined with embossing to create a more striking 3D image.
Foiling machines use heat to transfer metallic foil to a solid surface. Foiling is a permanent process, and is a very popular request from wedding related businesses and other companies that require a touch of luxury to their stationery.
Embossing
The Embossing process (achieved via the application of heat and pressure) gives you that extra something special to bring out a classic and ageless quality. Embossing is particularly effective due to its understated style.
